running for a district position should come to the convention having
signed the appropriate form. Copies will also be available at
the
convention. What
is it?Agreement for Governor Agreement for Secretary Agreement for Treasurer Agreement for Lieutenant Governor Agreement for Editor District
Convention is held each year in the spring shortly after club officers
are elected. It is similar to International Convention, but
on a
much smaller scale. As the name suggests, Circle K members of
the
Alabama District gather to celebrate the accomplishments of the past
year and elect a new District Board of Officers. As with
International Convention, there are awards, social opportunities, and
various workshops in which members can participate. District
Convention is a formal conference because the "business" of Circle K is
decided upon at this conference, such as amendments to the bylaws and
the election of the new District Board. | ![]() | |
